The Integral Accounting Enterprise System contains the following tools, tables, and fields to allow you to create your own MRP System on top of our purchase order and inventory systems. The process starts with our work order system. You can enter work orders into the Integral Accounting Enterprise system for your bill of materials, schedule their production, and track their status and other important statistics for each work order. You can enter a single work order for any number of bills of materials (Also called "Inventory Assemblies" in our system). Each Bill of Materials or Inventory Assembly can be associated with an instruction sheet in the system with an overview of the build process, and allows for hyperlinks to diagrams and other HTML documentation. Creating the assembly and adjusting the inventory is a simple matter of selecting the item assembly and entering the number of items to build. The system builds the inventory, adjusts the costs and adjusts the inventory automatically. The complete source code for all of these functions is included in the Integral Accounting Enterprise package, so you can customize and modify them in any way that you like. There are extra fields and tables in the system to support a purchase contracts system, contracts ledger, and a time associated with each build so you can custom design build any manor of production scheduling. Inventory, Item, and Purchase Contract information is available for viewing by your vendors, so they can keep track on their item usage, balances on their contracts, and make sure item descriptions are correct in your system for a complete Vendor Managed Inventory solution.
